The IT Color Of The Moment... Royal Blue!

Hi girls, so I am going to tell you a little about the IT COLOR, the gorgeous Miss Royal Blue.
Isn't she fab!? even her name spells greatness ;-) oh yeah baby! So if you couldn't tell by my items below, I absolutely love royal blue, b.t.w. I totally forgot to take a picture of my favorite scarf & skinny jeans right now, it's royal blue obviously and I just bought at J Crew at the mall... It's gorgeous :)
FYI... the little picture on the right corner is not my feet lol it's a magazine picture.
Since this trend is hot right now you can find royal blue items anywhere, I promise! Check out my favorite places... H&M, Forever21, ForeignExchange, ANGL, Guess, bebe, Aldo, DSW, Macy's, Steve Madden, Nordstrom and the RACK.
TIPS: on how to wear royal blue:

  • black skinny jeans or wax-coated jeans(my favorite) with a black cable knit round neck sweater and royal blue suede pumps, accessories may be added but be careful not to take the spotlight off of the shoes.
  • Light wash skinny jeans, gray v-neck sweater(preferably cashmere) with a royal blue scarf and black leather booties with a matching clutch.
  • Royal blue skinny jeans, nude flats, nude shirt or sweater any style.
  • Nude color dress(something simple and feminine, not hoochie) royal blue blazer and nude pumps or hot pink for a touch of color-blocking style ;-)
  • Last but not least for the upcoming HOT TREND for spring/summer 2012 color-blocking... you can be bold and wear a royal blue top(similar to mine below) with a hot pink blazer and green silky trousers/OR orange skirt, pair it with a fab. nude heels that are plain(like suede pumps) wear a matching clutch to the shoes and you are on point with the IT COLOR!
  • Not too big on the top ideas, but you still want to try the trend? Opt. for a royal blue clutch to go with many neutral outfits, OR buy royal blue accessories to pair with a little black dress and other neutral outfits...you know your favorite ones ;-) Also, let's not forget the most simple and safest way to wear a trend... on your nails :) look for your prettiest shades by O.P.I. and Essie <---- Love them!
